Meryl Streep and Christina Hendricks take the plunge as Hollywood royalty hits the Baftas red carpet

We’re used to seeing her covered in elegant dresses and demure red carpet. But last night, always provocative Meryl Streep gave Christina Hendricks a run for their money as they both attended the Orange British Academy Film Awards in diving dress by Vivienne Westwood.

Streep wore a black gown with a corset that showed far more cleavage than we are used to seeing the star Iron Lady. The candidate best actress covered her shoulders with a sequined jacket trimmed.

Mad Men star Christina was true to form in their number also sinking, with bright red lips to match her hair of fire.
